Growing up I always loved having light coloured walls in my bedroom. And even still, I love the feeling and look of a light and airy room with a crisp white or light grey on the wall. Sometimes I’ll do a bold colour if a client is keen, however, it’s not typically my style. But ever since my trip to New York this past May, I’ve been obsessed with dark walls. Specifically, black. It can make a room look crisp and elegant to daring and sexy. It makes furniture, art and accessories pop and can totally be treated as a neutral. Now all I need is a client who is willing to paint their walls black :) Anyone?? Add in some wall panelling and I just died and went to Heaven.
