Wednesday Wishlist: Fall Shoes
SHOES!! I’m mostly a boots girl in the fall because I can’t STAND to have cold feet. It’s one of my biggest pet peeves in life. But these shoes are all just too amazing to pass up because of frost bite right? Jokes aside, I just purchased the Michael Kors suede booties above and I’m already starting to wear them out. They’re on my feet almost everyday, I love them. Next on the ‘I Want List’ is a pair of flat, tan, knee high boots like the Chloe’s in the left hand corner.

Bathroom Eye Candy
Living in a small Vancouver apartment, you really don’t have the luxury of the separate bath, beautiful mosaic tile and marble countertops. (If you do, well isn’t that fantastic) So I’ve tried to spruce mine up as best as possible with new paint, towels and a shower curtain. Just waiting on some prints or photos for the beautiful Pottery Barn frames I bought.
Anyhoo, these bathrooms are serious inspiration for those who have a bit more square footage and are maybe going through a renovation. My favourite bathrooms are the two at the end. That marble is breathtaking and I love the vanity in the next photo. Too beautiful. What’s your favourite bathroom trend these days?

Weekend Outlook
This weekend is a busy one as I have a lot of work to catch up on. Not sure what the weather will turn out to be, but hopefully I’ll get some time outside!
The Plan Stan:
- Cocktail hour on Friday perhaps…
- Work, work, work on Saturday and planning for an exciting business future!
- Dinner with my lady friends on Saturday, not sure where yet. Any ideas?
- Quick stop by Pacific Center to return my freshly ripped blouse. Boo.
- Book keeping. ‘Nuf said.
- Major clean on Sunday and some family time.

Staycation At Hotel Georgia
Whether you live in Vancouver or are just coming for a visit, a stay at the newly renovated, beautiful Hotel Georgia is a must. I’d take a staycation there anyday! After a $120 million renovation, the hotel has been fully revamped and is absolutely breathtaking. I could totally curl up in a plush hotel robe with a glass of wine on that patio any night. I have to say, I’m really happy that Vancouver is finally amping up its hotel game.
I have yet to visit hot spot Hawksworth, but I’ve heard it’s a must go, but be prepared for some serious wait times! The design of the restaurant is stunning, I’m truly impressed and inspired. Have you eaten there yet? What do you think of the interior?

Wednesday Wishlist: Fall Pants
Trying to break out of a jeans and black jeggings rut hasn’t proven to be that easy in the past but here’s hoping this fall will be different. On my radar are a few pairs that offer some serious versatility! Can’t wait to get my hands on some burnt orange jeggings (orange being my favourite colour), black pleated trousers, high waisted red(!) pants (if I dare) and a classic pair of dark wash bell bottom jeans.

Living Room Fun
I always love a good neutral colour palette with a pop of colour and one unexpected accent piece. It’s a really smart way to decorate because if you get sick of your accent colour down the road, you can easily switch it out while keeping the investment pieces around. Right now, I’m loving a warm goldenrod colour with almost anything, but especially walnut, white, slate grey and black.

I saved the best for last…. BAM! Nina Dobrev hit it out of the park in this form fitting b-e-a-utiful Donna Karan gown and Neil Lane jewels. The neckline and silhouette look so amazing on her fantastic figure. And the red! I’m usually not a red fan, but this fall I’ve definitely begun to embrace it. The hair and jewels are perfection.

Weekend Outlook
Looking forward to the weekend let me tell you! The shift in weather from last weekend to this is a sure sign the fall is on it’s way. Surprisingly, I’m ready for it. Don’t get me wrong, summer is one of my favourite seasons but fall takes the cake.
I plan to:
- Officially retire my summer clothes in favour of some new pieces from Aritzia & Michael Kors
- Do a little
springfall cleaning - Pick up the love of my life from the airport….I dislike long business trips :(
- Hang a few new pieces in the apartment- mirror, bulletin board, etc.
- Recover from getting my ass kicked at the gym by my wonderful trainer
- Long walk on the seawall for some brisk exercise, fingers crossed for no rain
- Get all dressed up for date night on Saturday
- Tea and friends on Sunday
